Corus
The Corus is a very compact floodlight‚ designed to incorporate as seamlessly as possible with the buildings and environments where it is installed.
It incorporates features that make it an outstanding luminaire for all types of applications:
The Corus features a glass lens‚ with high temperature rating, sealed onto the profile by means of a silicone joint.
The Corus is rated IP66 and has been designed in such a way as to prevent the accumulation of water when the floodlight is in a horizontal position.
This luminaire can accommodate a wide choice of optical systems and lamp combinations such as metal halide with ceramic burner‚ HID (remote ballast)‚ fluorescent and compact fluorescent.
The Corus floodlight is easy to maintain and provides access to the internal components through a frame and door assembly at one end.

Technical Specifications
Housing Extruded aluminum, with integral grooves to mount the internal components. End caps and access doors are made of die cast aluminum.
Access Door Die cast aluminum, allowing easy access to the electrical components' mounting plate. The plate slides into the housing's grooves. Silicone gaskets make the door dust and water tight, IP66 rating according to IEC standard IE 60529.
Gasketing Silicone gaskets provide an IP66 rating for dust and water ingress protection as per IE 60529 standard.
Locking System Closing captive 0.158" (4mm) allen head stainless steel screws. One allen key is provided with each order.
Reflector Formed of aluminum, polished, electro-chemically brightened, and anodized to provide a precise controlled light beam. The optical system is located in the center of the luminaire housing.
Lens Flat clear tempered glass, shock resistant. The lens is permanently sealed to the housing.
Lamp Holder Porcelain heat-resistant pulse rated 4kV bi-pin base (2G11) for PL-L fluorescent lamps and G13 for T5 and T8 fluorescent lamps.
Ballast Provided with polarized quick disconnects plugs with positive lock. Regulator type: (EL) solid state electronic control gear.
Ballast Tray All electrical components, lamp, reflector and control gear are fixed to modular galvanized steel plate that slides into the housing, like a drawer, for easy maintenance.
Electrical Feed A pressure gland at the wire entry for flexible conduit 0.310" to 0.510" (7.87mm to 12.95mm) (cord by others).
Hardware All exposed screws are stainless steel. All seals and sealing devices are made and/or lined with EPDM and/or silicone.
Finish Application of polyester powder coat paint. The chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the ASTM B117 standard and humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM D2247 standard.
Colors and Finishes
Schréder luminaires, poles and brackets have a polyester powder coat paint finish (4 mils/100 microns) (unless another finish is specified). The finish's chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the ASTM B117 standard and is humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM D2247 standard.
Schréder has 5 standard colors.
Other RAL colors are available upon request.
