Focal
The Focal is a truly multipurpose floodlight. Its compact design provides a wide choice of reflectors, lamps and accessories. Individual lens accessories can be overlaid and adjusted 360 degrees on-site by simple manual rotation. Combined with its photometric performance it is the perfect luminaire for all types of installations.
An innovative device allows the Focal's beam to be easily adjusted on site while the luminaire is in operation. An adjustment screw allows continuous fine tuning of the lamp position when it is operational.
The optical chamber is rated IP66, eliminating ingress of water and particles for optimal performance.

Technical Specifications
Housing Made of die cast aluminum with mounting provision for hardware. Front of housing accepts of accessories for beam modification and glare control.
Gasketing Silicone gasket to insure IP66 rating for dust and water ingress protection as per IEC 598 standard.
Locking system Closing captive 0.158'' (4mm) Allen head stainless steel screws. One Allen key is provided with the order.
Reflector Formed in aluminum, polished, electro-chemically brightened, and anodized to provide a precisely controlled light beam. Modification of light center position with focus adjustable device allows for field adjustment of beam angle.
Lens Flat protector made of clear tempered glass, shock resistant. The lens is permanently sealed to the housing by a bead of silicone applied by a high precision machine.
Lamp holder Porcelain heat-resistant pulse rated 4kV G12 base.
Lamp Important note: please use 3000oK lamps.
Ballast Integrated, Metal Halide, high power factor, -20oF (-30oC) lamp starting capacity, with polarized quick disconnect plugs with positive lock. Regulator type: (EL) solid state electronic control gear.
Ballast tray Integrated electronic control gear is to be mounted onto an injection molded polymer structure, fixed into the housing.
Electric feeding A pressure gland will insure tightness level at the wire entry for flexible conduit 0.310" to 0.560" (7.87mm to 12.95mm) (Cord by Others).
Mounting The yoke is made of a single cast aluminum part. Three (3) mounting holes available for 3/8"-16 (9.5-406mm) anchor bolts. (bolts and anchoring devices by installing contractor). The yoke allows 112 degree rotation. Position adjustment is allowed by tightening the yoke's support screws.
Hardware All exposed screws will be in stainless steel. All seals and sealing devices are made and/or lined with EPDM and/or silicone.
Finish Application of polyester powder coat paint. The chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the ASTM-B117 standard and humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM-D2247 standard.

Colors and Finishes
Schréder luminaires, poles and brackets have a polyester powder coat paint finish (4 mils/100 microns) (unless another finish is specified). The finish's chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the ASTM B117 standard and is humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM D2247 standard.
Schréder has 5 standard colors.
Other RAL colors are available upon request.
