The Furyo is the ultimate tool designed for providing "The Right Light" for street lighting applications. Equipped with self cleaning glass, multi layer HiR® High powered reflectors, and specifically designed for the latest generation of arc tube lamp, Philips® CosmoPolis, the Furyo provides more with less.

Die cast aluminum housing for the Furyo is designed to optimize the cooling of the electronic ballast, which is also protected by a IP66 compartment. A Sealsafe® IP66 optical module ensures, together with the self cleaning lens, the highest possible energy efficiency for years to come.

    Furyo3-TEch-Spec


    Housing The housing is made of die-cast aluminum, minimum 2.2mm thick. It achieves thermal separation between the optical chamber and the ballast compartment, to help keep electronic components cooler. The ballast and optical chambers are IP66 rated, and accessible without tools.

    Optical System: The Sealsafe optical chamber consists of a Miro aluminum reflector with a 95% reflective coefficient, designed specifically for the characteristics of the Philips Cosmopolis lamp. The tempered glass lens is sealed to the housing with silicone, and is treated with a self-cleaning coating. IES Roadway Types II and III distributions are available.

    Electrical System: The electronic ballast is available as 120v or 208-277v. The PGZ18 porcelain socket is 5 kV pulse rated, and its design facilitates precise positioning of the lamp within the reflector. Both the ballast and the lamp are easily accessed by lifting spring-loaded latches that integrate into the housing design.

    Finish: Application of polyester powder coat paint, UV and salt spray resistant in accordance with the ASTM-B117 standard, and humidity proof per ASTM-D2247.

    Listings and Ratings: Luminaire is ETL listed to comply with UL 1598 and CSA C-22.2 No. 250.0-08. It is IP66 rated.

    Luminaire Classification System - LCS

    The LCS is an IESNA standard method of evaluating the lighting levels produced by a luminaire by classifying the results into three categories; forward light, backlight and up light. This can be combined with the IESNA cutoff classification to evaluate the optical system best suited to your project.

    Colors and Finishes

    Schréder luminaires, poles and brackets have a polyester powder coat paint finish (4 mils/100 microns) (unless another finish is specified). The finish's chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the ASTM B117 standard and is humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM D2247 standard.

    Schréder has 5 standard colors.

    Other RAL colors are available upon request.
