Technical Specifications
Housing Spun from sturdy 16 gauge aluminum sheet, 5052 alloy.
Base "Made of die cast aluminum, 0.090¨ (2.2mm) minimum thickness with mounting provision for hardware. The base permits installation over a tenon of 76mmØ (3¨O.D.) x 70mm (2 3/4¨), and is secured by 3 sets of 2 setscrews at 120°.
Fixed cover Flat plate cover made of 16 gauge galvanized steel, removable to access electrical connection.
Arms Made of die cast aluminum.
Ballast Mounted on a modular, unitized ballast tray made of 16 gauge galvanized steel, mounted inside the housing. Easy access for service by opening the hood. With polarized quick disconnect plugs with positive lock. Lens Made in clear, flat, tempered 4mm glass. The lens is permanently sealed to the reflector, forming a Sealsafe® optical block impervious to fluids. Mechanical impact resistance of IK08 according to IEC62262.
Reflector Made of 3002 aluminum, hydro-formed, anodized and electro-brightened (5 microns min.). The Sealsafe® optical block offers an Ingress Protection level of IP66 according to IEC 60598, and a fluid resistance factor of R>600.
Sleeve Die cast, glass reinforced resin, mechanically fastened to reflector and fully silicone gasketed.
Shutter Injection molded, glass fibre reinforced polymer. Removable with a quarter turn, with injection molded silicone gasket (Duro 60 shore A). Adjustment to obtain the various IES distribution is preset in the factory.
Lamp Holder Porcelain, thermo-resistant pulse rated 4kV for medium base lamps (E26). Ceramic for G12 (T6) and PGZ12 (cosmopolis) lamps.
Hardware All exposed screws will be in stainless steel. All seals and sealing devices are made and/or lined with EPDM and/or silicone.
Finish Application of polyester powder coat finish. The chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish, in accordance with the ASTMB117 standard, and humidity proof according to the ASTMD2247 standard.
Electrical listing Wet Location listed per UL 1598 and CSA C22.2. IP rating for the optical system is IP66.
Warranty The Sealsafe® optical module is warranted to be free of intrusion of contaminants for a period of twenty years

Colors and Finishes
Schréder luminaires, poles and brackets have a polyester powder coat paint finish (4 mils/100 microns) (unless another finish is specified). The finish's chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the ASTM B117 standard and is humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM D2247 standard.
Schréder has 5 standard colors.
Other RAL colors are available upon request.
