LEDS: THE ADVANTAGES OF A DIFFERENT KIND OF LIGHTING
The Isla LED-equipped luminaire brings together some of the significant advantages of this new technology. In terms of photometry, the highly directional flux of LEDs fitted with appropriate lenses makes it possible to direct the light precisely where it is desired at the levels required while permitting low-height installations.
The optical compartment of the Isla is sealed by flat glass that offers the advantage of not producing intrusive light and of meeting the most demanding light pollution criteria (no emission of upper flux), thereby satisfying in particular the needs for high-quality urban lighting.
To create ambiance, a blue LED accentuates the luminaire's nocturnal presence by giving it a particular relief and volume.

Technical Specifications
Base: Made of die cast aluminum with mounting provisions for hardware. The base permits installation over a tenon of 3.0” (76mm) O.D. x 2.75” (70mm) long, and is secured by 2 sets of 3 stainless steel set screws.
Top Hood: Spun from sturdy 16 gauge aluminum, 5052 alloy.
Arms: Constructed of die cast aluminum.
Access Cover: Flat plate cover made of 16 gauge galvanized steel, removable to access to the electrical connection.
Reflector: Made of 3002 aluminum, hydro-formed, anodized and electro-brightened (5 microns min.).The Sealsafe® optical block offers an Ingress Protection level of IP66 according to IEC60598, and a fluid resistance factor of R>600.
Lens: Made in clear, flat, tempered 4mm glass. The lens is permanently sealed to the reflector, forming a Sealsafe® optical block impervious to fluids. IP rating is 66. Mechanical impact resistance of IK08 according to IEC62262.
Ballast: Mounted on a modular, unitized ballast tray made of 16 gauge galvanized steel, mounted inside the housing. Easy access for service by opening the hood, with polarized quick disconnect plugs with a positive lock.
LED Light Source: Asymmetric / Roadway use 28 x 1 watt white LED + 1 blue LED. Symmetric distribution is 42 x 1 watt white LED + 1 blue LED. The current LEDs are 1-watt Cree XR-E Ledsx. Please check the web site: www.schreder.us for updated LED components that may be utilized when available.
Driver: Mounted on a modular unitized ballast tray made of galvanized steel. All connections are made with polarized, quick disconnect plugs with a positive lock. The 120-277v, 50/60 Hz, Class 2 drivers provide 350 mA constant current to the LEDs. Power factor is greater than 90% at full load.
Hardware: All exposed screws are stainless steel. All seals and sealing devices are made and/or lined with EPDM and/or silicone.
Finish: Application of polyester powder coat paint. The chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the standard and humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM-D2247 standard.

Colors and Finishes
Schréder luminaires, poles and brackets have a polyester powder coat paint finish (4 mils/100 microns) (unless another finish is specified). The finish's chemical composition provides a highly durable UV and salt spray resistant finish in accordance to the ASTM B117 standard and is humidity proof in accordance to the ASTM D2247 standard.
Schréder has 5 standard colors.
Other RAL colors are available upon request.
